[Oh, Ezra, you've had the horrible luck to catch Theo mid-letter trade with Anthony. :C His annoyed impatience is pretty obvious through his handwriting, if you know what to look for.]
Mr. Mildmay,
So I see that there's more than one of you. How intriguing. You're certainly far better behaved than your fellow classmate. Unless, of course, you're only assisting him in his disreputable search. But yes, I can pass along your message to those two.
The 17th? Hardly. Things have been quiet since the blackout a bit before that, our demonic visitors nowhere to be found, and I intend on it staying that way. The sooner this is put behind everyone, the better. We're hardly the sort of people who should be dealing with such things, wouldn't you say?
Mr. Bianchessi I hope you don't mind if I call you Theodore. There's no need to be so formal, is there?
There's plenty more of us. Did someone do something to upset you? I can't think of anyone who'd do that on purpose... for what it's worth, I apologize. We should be trying to work together, right?
Ah, that's good then. Hopefully things will continue this way. I ask because I went into the city recently and didn't find any clues about demons holing up anywhere. You'd think there'd be something out of the ordinary, odd sightings or sounds, but nothing.
Is there really a sort of person for this? Rushing into things wouldn't get you very far... neither would planning overly much. We're all in the dark here pretty equally. I guess I just don't like the feeling. But if the trouble ends here, I can't say I'd be unhappy either.
God, Theo stop raining on everyone's parade :|highfivepriestNovember 24 2010, 01:21:36 UTC
If you think as much, Ezra, I suppose I can drop the formalities.
There's no need for you to apologize on someone else's behalf. But might I suggest that you make sure you're on the same page with your classmates, to prevent any such [he pauses here, still eying Anthony's letter from aside] damage control on your part in the future

Too bad Ezra didn't bring an umbrella :,D (Sorry for the edits!)cemetaryeyesNovember 24 2010, 19:28:38 UTC
[There is a slight pause before Ezra's reply. A few eraser marks here and there linger suspiciously, where he's thought better of it.]
My classmates can handle themselves just fine. I wasn't trying to assume responsibility for them, exactly. But this won't be the first misunderstanding, words can only carry across so much. I've written more letters in the past week than I've written the rest of my life put together, and I'm willing to bet a few others in my time are the same way. Culture shock's inevitable too, our times are very different. All that said, Locrine seemed to handle it pretty well, so what's your excuse Anyway, a little patience wouldn't hurt, Theodore

I hope you're right. Well, take care.
