It's been a LONG FUCKING 4 YEARS. Made far longer by Covid. And yet.. and YET.. were it not for Covid, I do honestly believe that tomorrow we would once again be watching that MF get swarn in for a second term. and yet for me...well I don't think 45 drove them stupid or evil or crazy or dangerous. I think they were already there, but before this they were only a danger to people of color, or gay people, or trans people. I hate how emboldened they are now but in the past they used to sort of tuck their fangs in in the company of other white people, now they let it all hang out and white liberals are seeing the threat marginalized people have always seen.

Yeah, Donald has shone a light on SO MANY ills in this country. In a way, we needed that. Now we need to work on FIXING them.

You've not posted for a while, although I often think of you. Much of the (remaining) free world is horrified at what is happening in America. I wonder if we can survive this.

I should make a post later today. I'm sickened but not sick. I am just utterly disgusted with my country. So very very disgusted that we as a nation have put this POS back in office after all he has done, that he was not and never will be held accountable now for what he did, and that for more than half of America, that's just A Okay.
