i stopped by the Vespa shop downtown and i'm apparently too short for one that's rated for highway. That sucker's more than 300 pounds!

Saw a scooter for puttin' around town. :: jealous ::

I'm 5'4" and I am comfortable on my small one (only 50cc) because the balls of my feet can be firmly on the ground (if not the heels). You should check out the Genuine Buddy, it's what my message boards recommend for shorter folk.

At home we have a parking lot and space, so no big there. Also I quit my job, so lol, but for the next two weeks yeah I just lock it to a parking meter with a fat chain. :)
