Summer school is over.. ((wiggling in my chair happy dance)).  I get back to work to find a whole cheese pizza sitting on my desk. My grandmother rocks!

Everybody - literally - is gone on vaction right now.  So I'll spend tomorrow all day packing. Cheers for moving but packing.. (cringe).

Last Saturday, Jen, err, DeVon and I went to Baton Rouge for the 7th(?) annual Southern Girls' Convention. And well it wasn't exactly what I was expecting, ok not at ALL what I was expecting.  But there were some highlights.

Republicans are frying Big Bird.
There's a petition on MoveOn.org if anyone is interesting in trying to save the joy of Seasame Street and Cliford for future youth. Funding for NPR is also being put at risk. God help us when PBS is being called too liberal.
