Yes, actually! Both my grandfather and I had the problem of gaining weight... we were always underweight and couldn't eat enough to keep the weight up high enough. There are shakes called "Weight Gain" (oddly enough) that you can buy in a can (or a powder)... it's basically like "Slim Fast" with all the vitamins and minerals, etc... but, with extra carbohydrates and healthy fats. Take as a snack in between meals, and voile!

It comes down to taking in more calories than you burn (as you know). ;) Find out how much you burn (there are a gazillion web sites that will tell you that), and then consume 500 more than that. You can supplement with stuff like Ensure between meals. Some other suggestions here. Also, weight lifting!
