Why is it that here in "America" the only talent you can have is either singing or dancing? 'American Idol' is all about singing. 'So you think you can dance' .....well, duhhh. If you can dance like Britney Spears or not.

I am really curious as to why those are the only talents that will make one a "Star".

I thought it did, but I haven't watched it so I may be wrong.
