I'm sorry, but this episode was Teh Suck. Seriously.

* Carnies are creepy enough, but now they're...what? Aliens, I assume, but who knows. 
* They were trapped by being filmed originally? Or disappeared because they ran out of work? Or both? 
* The first two can escape off the film as shadows, but the others have to walk out of the middle of the

It's funny - I haven't watched Torchwood yet, but someone on my flist has, and her reaction was along the lines of violently hating this episode.

Seems like the reviews are fairly consistent. ;-)

Yeah, it seems that either people really liked it because they like that writer and his style, or really hated it for the same reason. So when you finally do get around to watching Torchwood, just skip this episode... they might as well have named it "Filler". :D
