In the department of the obvious, Government Spending is not out of control.

While we're still leaking funds because of the number of Americans who are under the poverty level, spending itself has been shrinking.

Oh, thank you for those links. I live in a house with likeminded people, so my father just nods when I yell 'LIES' at the tv when I see the super PAC commercials just flat out fucking lying to the American people. But I do occasionally speak to those who aren't likeminded, and having something to point at like this instead of me sputtering and muttering 'pants on fire', I have pages that speak the truth aside from politifact and factcheck.

I would caution you that linking a conservative to MoJo is going to go over with them about as well as linking them to NPR or a paper by the IPCC. They're all liberal conspiracy hotspots to someone in the right wing bubble.
