Oscar, my fish, died of dropsy aka kidney failure. Poor fish. He died while I was out buying antibodics and epsom salt for him. Rest in peace, little bud. You were a good fish.

Recently, I've had a hankering for some Dolly Parton, Dusty Springfield, and Loretta Lynn. I think I had to leave Nashville to appriciate the brillance of old country.

I'm going to have to listen to the Elizabethtown soundtrack when I drive home. Mainly because Cameron Crowe romanticized driving through the heartland. Eastern Arkansas needs all the romanticizing it can get. It tries so hard, but it's so flat and full of fields that won't even be too productive a month from now.
