Trip continued
Everything is going well here. It's so strange, i sometimes lose track of time...at times it feels like it's been a few days and it's only later in the day. Basically what we do is we get up in the morning get ready, eat, and then go off in one of the runs to the hospital. then we don't end up getting home until late that night in time to get ready for bed and then going to sleep. Yesterday and today after getting to the hospital and saying hello to my grandmother i went off with some of the people to go see my granfather who is in a kind of nursing home. that was really nice to see him...he has lewey body disease which is a form of alzheimers, so his short term memory is fading and he can get pretty confused. It was pretty exciting though becaue the first time we went to see him he recognized me and was really happy to see me. We had a good visit with him both times, it's just sad when we leave because he wants to go with us and doesn't like us to leave, but he can't come because he needs as much stability as he can get in order to keep him in the good state that he's in. after we leave him we go back to the hospital to see my grandmother. It's been really nice seeing her, and it's really good for us to be there because it makes her happy. The place that she's in right now is really nice and they are taking really good care of her which is good...we also have like two rooms that the rest of the family can hang out in when they aren't visiting with her. We are pretty much living there, we bring food and stuff and just camp out for the day and then pack up when we leave. By tomorrow all of my family on my dad's side,all my aunts, uncles and cousins, will be here..all except my brother. we've been trying to get a hold of him for quite sometime but he hasn't responded to any of my dad or aunt's e-mails...i really think that he should be here during this time, i've been wanting to e-mail him just to tell him again, even though i'm sure he's gotten the other e-mails...if yall could just keep him in your prayers too, that he would know just what is going on and realize the severity, i would really appreciate it...my brother and my dad have issues sometime due to my brother's mom ever since he was young, so that could be what's going on here but we really don't know because we haven't heard from him since june. It's just hard having everyone here except him, i just want him to know that we miss him and want him to be here. well i have to go take a shower and get ready for bed, we have a big day tomorrow, we are taking my grandpa out for lunch and then to the lake house my family has, then possible visit RIT some where in between. so i must be off but i'll update again later. thank you all for all your prayers and support.
