Finally made it to City Hall this afternoon to see all the crazy Jack Layton stuff going on there. It's different to see it in person. The amount of effort put into the chalk drawings and words is so impressive in person. The scale of it is incredible. I don't think I was able to take any photos that represent it properly.

Thank you for posting this. ♥ No matter how much time I've spent there in person, photos keeps making me cry.

I'm glad Olivia and Jack's children got to see it. (That's Jack's daughter, Sarah, to Olivia's left.)

And I know what you mean about scale and emotional impact. I took some photos last night and they don't even begin to do it justice.
