It has been said that I always think in terms of money. I question that individual's use of the word "always." I do tend to often think in terms of value. As "value" is a vague and ambiguous word, many times, I substitute money to provide clarity and a level conversational base ( Read more... )

I love the way you think Michael! Such a different perspective, but still well thought out and expressed. I see nothing wrong with money or even wanting money as long as it does not become your God. And I think it is a great way to serve other people.

...I don't think there's anything wrong with your view of money at all. If you notice, I never said that...I just said that that was one of the big reasons you and I were just too different. Also, I don't remember if I have ever said that I do not care about money...I may well have, but it isn't true. I do care about money. I want to have nice things, nice clothes, nice makeup, and never have to worry that I can't provide for my children. But I don't ever think of it in terms of money. I just aim to do something great...the money will be a consequence of that. With the exception of my Corvette, I don't think in terms of what I am going to buy and how big my house is going to be. I just noted a difference, that's all. You know that I'm your personal cheering section. You're a mover and a shaker. You keep rockin' on! :)
