Ask me three questions

Nov 07, 2004 01:09

So, according to a friend's live journal, I am to allow you to ask me three questions. Ask anything you want and remember, that I will respond honestly; so be prepared for that.

Many thanks,

Michael

1.) So, I continue to go to church, but I struggle all the time. I stumble each day and wonder what is wrong with me; why can't I just get this right? I have yet to find a suitable Bible study. Unlike you, I do not read my Bible often. Actually, I really only read it when I go to church. I am disappointed in my lack of practiced faith. However, I am determined to get my walk back on track. I do remember what it was like to be wrapped in the grace of God and look to Him for the answers. I want that peace, serenity and security back with all my heart. I would be willing to share with and encourage you if your desire is the same. I would sure appreciate the shared experience and accountability ( ... )

I am sorry to hear that your walk, much like mine, is struggling. I do remember what it was like to wrapped in God's grace, but I am unsure on how to get back to that place. I guess I will figure things out with time. I am glad to hear that the girl took you message well, and there was not too much trouble. I'm sorry that it'b been so long since you've seen/heard from kellie. I really have not come home much this year, nor do i plan too. I thought i'd be home for thanksgiving, but instead my family has decided to go to my cousin's (here in C.S.). So I probably will not be home til Christmas. Well, I hope you get your promotion, and don't get so into work you forget how to be social.

1) Are you free for lunch this weekend?
2) Does life seem more manageable at 24 than at 22?
3) Are you happy?

I am free for lunch this weekend on Saturday if that works for you. Let me know...

Life has been much more manageable for me after I left school. I always felt that I had two jobs while I had a job and attended class. I love being able to devote myself fully to my work.

I am not really happy right now, but I should be fine in the morning. I just need a night on the town and a good night's sleep.

I'll have to recant on lunch I'm afraid. I'm working all weekend and I have a take-home test on top of it, so I'll be otherwise occupied for a while. :-(

Maybe I get lunch now? thepinkness November 13 2004, 07:28:12 UTC
Hey...You're hard to get a hold of. I get off work at 3 tomorrow if you want to go out for a late lunch or coffee, or later for dinner or whatever. If not, I think I'm off Sunday at 5 (if you wanna do dinner). If that's still a no, I'm free evenings all week until Thursday. You can e-mail me about tomorrow if you want, and I'll give you a call when I get off work. (You're a 281, not a 713, right?) anyway...hope to see you soon!
