Oh god, I loved Lunar even though I scarcely remember what happened in the games and I traded my copies of the (more or less mint) Complete sets to Gamestop for a pittance. whhhy, meee?
Such a great localization, though; the humor was spot-on, and I recall the voice acting was decent!
The voice acting was excellent for the time, although parts of it are grating by modern standards. Either way though, every voice matched the character which is pretty much all that matters.
It costs, like, $200 to get a decent copy if either Lunar now. D: D: D: That is the saddest game trade in story I've heard yet.
Er, try Googling "lunar silver star harmony". O.o They totally remade the game for the PSP and it's, like, 40 bucks now. Unless you have some glaring problem with the remake and hence that's why you never referenced it.

2) It's not even that they *bash* Ollie. A lot of pairing fandoms bash the interfering romantic interest. It's that they act like they're better than your run of the mill shippers because they ship femslash and that makes them ~*feminists*~. And while yeah, there's something nice about the idea of two strong women being in love, it's just fandom oh my gaaaawd you are exactly the same as Harmonians.
