The weekend was good for me. I came to terms with a lot of things, decided on others, and I'm back to being in a good mood. It really helps once you get that knot out of your stomach :P
Yes, thought it was high time to do one of these. So I present to you, the weekend in bullet points:
- Note to Art: when making toga, 5 feet of material is not enough to wrap around you 3 times.
- Art and I both apparently suck at using a GPS, and ended up getting halfway to the shore before realizing this probably isn't the way to Philadelphia.
- Got to party around an hour and a half late due to said GPS misadventure, immediately started drinking.
- We played the drinking game where each person takes a turn picking a card, and that card tells you what you have to do. 2 = pick someone to drink 3 = you drink, ect. I've played this game maybe 20 times (sometimes with the same goddamn people!), and I swear the rules change every time. Can we have some consistency! Or at least a party rule that explains the rules to newcomers!
- 3 rounds of drinking games later, I was pretty smashed but did manage to catch people re-enacting a crazy video of Indian dudes dancing.
- One of the girls wanted to take a walk, outside, at 3am, in the rain, when she could barely stand. Oooookay.
- ... though I did wake up at like 3am and had a sudden urge to do push-ups. Where the F did that come from?
- Ended up sleeping on the couch, another time where I hate being 6'3. Never could quite get comfortable, woke up a few times with a stiff back/neck/legs :(
- Apparently I moan (?!) in my sleep. Don't ask, I wish I remembered the dream!
- The Jeep (capitalization intended) doesn't react well to rain, as we almost hit kyle's car... twice.
- Got home just in time to see the Yankees lose, again, and probably end their chances of making the playoffs this year. Sigh :(
- These pictures are so overdone, but damn if they don't get me laughing every time:
What is with the Yankees this year? Seriously. Explain to me how a 200 million dollar team could be this inept at baseball. It defies logic and any/all reason. It's going to be a long winter, hopefully the Giants will be good again this year!
