WoW sucks, so it's on to Aion. Expectations are rather low, which probably means the game will turn out to be awesome. I rolled a sorcerer, and it's been pretty fun so far. Not sure what I'm going to do for retail, though

Aion's a Korean MMO that was ported to English. Unless you're a masochist and enjoy spending... Wait, we're ex-XI players, huh? :p Scratch the masochist part.

Aion's pretty, if nothing else. The flight controls suck though. Not quite sure how the aerial combat is going to work out without a second pair of hands.

I really don't mind the flight controls that much, R and F for height adjustment and the normal WASD for lateral movement seems fine so far.

And yeah, I can see it's going to be a bit grind-y.

Its fine if you want to move along the XYZ axis in straight lines >.>

Trying to accend/decend while moving foward and to a side becomes trickier and difficult to do with one hand. Using both to pull off fancier maneuvers kind of means you can't really hit macros.

Plus, where's the pitch/yaw controls?! I wants mah barrel roll!
