Michael Cera to play 'Gilligan' in movie remake?
I think that idea is hilarious. I LOL'd.
But it makes me wonder even more why he's so reluctant to make a movie version of his own show.

Ew, bad idea jeans. Not every old tv show needs to be remade into a feature film. Or, y'know, replace "not every" with "no."

You bring up a good point-- if this happens, and an AD movie doesn't... it just wouldn't make any sense.
