Libby may be in good hands, but she is about to embark on a journey through 2 weeks of hell followed by 6 weeks of frustration. it's very appropriate, for her to tuck her legs under. when we took Bohdan in for his second knee surgery, he was so frightened he shook; great wracking shivers through his big body. I think Karine cried too.

I am so glad Oprah is recovering. when is she considered to be "recovered" and not "in recovery"?

Well, except for her hair growing back and perhaps gaining a little more strength and balance in her legs, she's just about as recovered as she'll ever be. In all my posts I never mentioned the big downside of all this: although the neurologist couldn't see any more tumor when he did the removal, it's very unlikely that he got all of it, so eventually (2 to 4 years, typically) it will grow back.

There is the option of radiation, which *might* get rid of the rest of the tumor, but we've decided not to put her through that.

So we all enjoy this time, and deal with the tumor regrowth whenever it happens. :\
