At the constant prodding of Zenified, I have finally taken pictures of my aquarium. Now let's see if I am capable of making them show up here :-p Erm, under a cut, even? Could I be so clever?

Wowza!!! How big is that thing?? Ours was... I don't even remember the capacity, but certainly much smaller.

It is gorgeous!! I want one... Damn my superstitious nature.

This tank is 100 gallons. There's about 150 pounds of live rock that I built my reef on, and maybe a three inch sand bed.

Amazing! That's unbelievably soothing! :)

It really is. If you string together all the short and (occasionally very) long moments I spend staring at the thing, I'm sure it comes out to at least a few hours a week. And what's so neat about a mature reef tank is that, like the Kenyan Tree Coral, things really do just pop up out of nowhere. I've got little featherdusters and baby mushrooms and odd plants and all sorts of things growing out of the rocks that I will try to get pictures of one day.
