Sooooo....I live in the south (Tennessee) where it's been rather warm this year to say the least. I returned home after being gone for work for the last month, stepped out to the studio to get it back in order...and discovered green mildew/algae/whatever growing on my clay

No, it's a good thing. It will make your clay more plastic.

If it bothers you, put some bleach in your recycling bucket. But the mold will burn out in the bisque fire.

Nope, doesn't bother me! Just wasn't sure if it would be bad for the clay.
