(interjects some jealousy along with happiness that you are having a great time and hope it continues) If you want to get me something, it is totally up to you whatever it is.
(beware my backwards sentence structure. That's the part I'm still learning. >.<) FOTO wo motomeru yo! nee~ anata purikura nebanaranu. saa, Nihon wo ENJOI desu yo!! I want pictures! Hey, you should try purikura. Well, enjoy Japan!!
And the "phonebook" manga I was asking about - I was just thinking. They're a bit expensive, so if you have any extra money and happen upon a manga shop, I would (quite literally) kill for some ORIGINAL Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon. ONLY if you happen upon it. ^_~ Don't go out of your way, just enjoy it while you're there! And keep us up to date~~!!! (omfg I am so jealous ;_;)
OK, purikura are those sticker pictures you see on cellphones & the like. They're really popular, but since it sounds like you're in the boonies of Japan (NOT a bad thing...so much prettier than the concrete jungle that is Tokyo, I'd imagine.) you might have to wait 'til you visit Nagano to try it. Basically, it's like a sticker version of those photo-booths that used to be so cheap back in the '80's in the US. :D
Yeah, I actually just found out today when we went to Nagano... I've seen it before, but I never knew the name! It is tons of fun. XD I'll have to show you when I get back. And SO cooler than anything around in the 80's, with all the customization...
yes! i want to see lots and lots of pictures sara! you make me want to learn more about japan and it's culture reading your entries. it sounds very entrancing!
Entrancing is a good way to put it... and yes, Japan is just awesome. I thought so before coming here, but I really didn't know the extent of that awesomeness.
Usually, things don't measure up to your expectations. Living in Japan has already exceeded mine by far after just 4 and a half days.
