Well, it seems the hurricane has hit pensacola and alabama... I ask again why you live in such an area that hurricanes are this frequent? :S Well, I guess it hasn't been that bad

Huricanes are not as bad as the media always makes them out to be. Don't be fooled. The biggest problem that a hurricane poses for most people is a lack of electricity. Don't get me wrong, some people will end up with a busted up house, but that is not the majority.

:) Well I guess that makes sense. The more drama, the more viewers! Here I am up north watching it because it's so intriguing. I was saying to my mom actually how I wished I was there and how exciting it would be.. altho I don't imagine it is very exciting.

Even so, the insurance must be really high. :S

I have been really enjoying your post so don't worry about rambling. I want to hear from the world traveler! The food commentary sparked my appetite. I almost could taste that chicken dish.

I spend a week in Mobile, one day cleaning up after Cindy, two days preparing for Dennis and a day to evacuate to Dallas. I am glad everyone is safe in Mobile. Relief!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CNN made the hurricane look like some huge massive storm. It was quite pathetic to see, actually. It didn't look that bad. I think I survived a lot worse when I was down there. Though, I'd still prefer a snow storm to a hurricane.

Same here. Snow storms are awesome. Ice storms on the other hand....

I think we had an ice storm last winter. I had to walk to school....man that sucked X_X
