Hmm, is there even a point to updating about today? I know you guys are expecting it and all, but seriously. The highlight of today was grocery shopping

We rented some movies tonight that we're going to watch tomorrow... and I'm going to learn to play Othello! When they found out I'd never seen Totoro, (From the director os Spirited Away, etc, I believe? I know you know his name, but I don't,) They insisted that I have to. They were all very entertained by Monoke-hime being called Princess Mononoke in America.
Miyazaki Hayao, nihon-fu (Japanese-style...last-name first, first-name last.) is the name of that director. ^_^ Totoro is very very very cute. It made me cry toward the end though. I'm a sucker for most of his stuff....XD
Tis a board game! I don't believe it's Japanese in origin, but it seems to be very popular here. I know Duncan has read a manga called Othello, and it involved the game.
I really will have to see Totoro then. It seems to be one of the most popular here, as Totoro merchandise seems to be everywhere. Although not as much as Pokemon! GAH I can't believe how much Pokemon junk there still is here.
About the Kimono, even if I had enough money I don't think I could find a way to get it to you. :( So ordering off the internet will be my only choice. :( I'd like it either to have been my choice or someone else who can at least see them. Meh! *shrugs

Wow! I didn't know that... how strange. :) Maybe yours are the actual element form, where as mine are the word such as water, like water you drink? And I know kuki is under "air" in my dictionary but in brackets it has: gas. So mine are probably the literal meanings, where as yours are supposed to be names for the actual elements!
I've learned that mizu is specifically just the name for cold water, like water you drink. There's another name for hot water... starts with an O. *shrug*
Yes, a great time is indeed being had! Japan seriously kicks ass. If you ever have the chance to go... yeah, jump on it. This just makes me want to travel so much more. See, EVERYwhere, you know?
I should definitely be able oi find one.. there's going to be a big kimono and bathing suit sale at the festival. I just hope I'll also be able to afford one...
