Gah, this week... I really love class and everything, but gah, this week was just so rediculously draining. It seems like whenever I wasn't in class, I was all over the place, shopping, packing, unpacking, trying to make myself at home at South. If every week was going to be like this one, I'd have to drop a class or two, but I'm reallly hoping ( Read more... )

Hey Sara...
Where is your university located anyway? I hear there's a HUGE hurricane headed to New Orleans and if it moves just a little bit, Mobile is gonna be hit really bad. Oh well, hope your family is keeping safe!

Of course I'm sure you absolutely know all of this... but procastinating would probably be the absolute worst thing to do in cegep/university. :S I've learned well to never procastinate. I think university is a lot like cegep... soooo.... The way I felt was like... teachers may not look too angry and stuff when you don't do your work... mostly because it's up to you whether you do it or not. But they also keep note of it and they pay a lot more attention than you think and it will show up in your grades.

Like.. I remember skipping many classes and yes I did REALLY well on tests and assignments... but because I did miss class, I still got pretty low grades. Grrr! Very annoying. And same in french. I got really god on assignments that I handed in and tests, however... I didn't do the stupid nighttly homework and it showed in my grades.

Yeah, South is closed tomorrow. Everyone's pretty worried about this one. Jordan's sister and her husband came here from New Orleans yesterday, vause yeah, New Orleans is just the Worst place for a hurricane to hit. Scary.

My university is just like, a 10 minute drive from my house.

Luckily, my family never bothered to take the boards down from Hurricane Dennis a couple months ago.

Take care and be safe during the hurricane, girl!! I'll be praying for you and your family and friends down there! (I went back home 100 miles north of Mobile...) Oh, and I hope y'all have a generator if the power goes out, because yea, being without power just sucks. :/ Here in Thomasville--100 friggin miles inland--we were without power for at least a week when Ivan hit. x_X;;;; Anyway, I'll bring this to a close now~ :3 Again, I hope you all the very best in these conditions!! ♥

Oh yeah, I just remembered, I wrote a whole long reply to this, although I can't remember at all just what I wrote, and about half a second before I clicked "Post Comment", the power went out, on the morning of the hurricane. XD
