EVERYBODY GO SEE SERENITY. RIGHT NOW. There is NOTHING not rediculously amazing about this movie. It might take me a few more days to digest it all, but I think it has earned the title of BEST MOVIE EVER in my book.
Let's all go see it 50 times so they know they can't cancel the rest of the trilogy like they canceled Firefly.

The movie's definitely written to be understood without having seen the series, but then, I guess it would spoil a couple things to see it first.
But watch the episodes quick!! :D

By "not a Firefly fan", do you mean you don't like it, or just that you never saw it? I would assume the latter, since the series is wonderful, but figured I'd ask.

Well, I only saw the first episode a couple days before the movie was released. Good show, but not enough to get me addicted... plus I was extremely sleepy at the time.

I was so afraid the movie was going to be a remake of the first episode, cause that's what it looked like at first.
