Well, I've been home for a little over two weeks and last night was the first time I actually went out and had some real social interaction - which was really nice actually. I don't know why but I've been feeling disconnected since I've been back and like I don't want to see anyone other than Geoff and my family. Maybe I feel like I don't fit in

Hi! It sounds like going to France ended up being a good experience ultimately then, so yay!

I can't believe the trip you are taking to Alaska in a few weeks! That is actually almost exactly one of the trips I am planning on taking with my Jeff in the (relatively) near future! I hope you have an absolutely fastastic time, even though I have to admit I'm a bit jealous! I can't wait to drive to Alaska someday, so I hope you will tell all about it and give advice and all that good stuff when you get back!

Yes, it should be pretty amazing. And I figure you can't make a trip like that without something (or several somethings) going wrong so I am trying to be ready for that. What part of Alaska would you like to visit?
