There is a war going on Uganda that hardly anyone knows about much less cares about. This war has been going on my entire life and I only found out about last night. The L.R.A. (Lord's Resistance Army) has been kidnapping children, brainwashing them and forcing them to fight as soldiers. They torture and kill some of them so that the others will be too afraid to escape.
Because of this the children in these small villages have taken to gathering in groups each night and walking miles into the larger cities to sleep on the streets because it is safer than sleeping in their own homes. 20 years this has been going on and the world has stood by watching.
