ljshootout High Contrast
This week we were asked to produce a high contrast photograph. I'm hoping that as Ayoub gave the okay to stretch the rules that I haven't broken them in the process... or more accurately... the post production.
The first one is taken with my Ricoh Caplio R6 on the macro setting. Post production I added a smart filter and various adjustment layers to get the grainy high contrast effect I was after. The prussian blue with the yellow ochre is one of my favourite colour combinations.
This second one was taken with my iphone in the public toilets in Barnsley. I've been sneaking a few pics every time I go there and one day I'll put them together. The high contrast technique I used in the first picture really added to the original which was already quite gritty and grainy. So almost identical post production as the first.
