God i ahte to say this, but I can't eat red cabbage nor venison. Disagrees with my stomach. I can make some chicken or something for myself, or I can make enough for everyone, or i can GORGE myself on bread and fruit salad and potatoes.
We could possibly do beef stew instead of venison, we've just had a hunk of venison hanging around here for months (safely frozen, of course) and figured that this would be a festively appropriate time to use it. If you know of a similarly festive treatment for chicken that might be neat.
