i figure balboa park must be nice because my insider's guide to san diego book i checked out from the library has a whole chapter dedicated to it. i'm too out of shape to walk the zoo though. :( or to go to sea world. :( though the latter might be a blessing in disguise because of the jellyfish/manatee ratio, which will henceforth be referred to as "THE X-FACTOR"

you should definitely go to the zoo then and get some exercise :P it's not THAT big, anyway... but there are lots of animals :)

balboa park is awesome, even if you just go and walk around and look at the architecture.

I'll never forget my ex being attacked by a school of jellyfish in Florida. If I remember right, we were at Coco Beach - he ran screaming... at first I thought a shark had attacked. His arm swelled up like a goodyear blimp. They're nasty little buggars!
