I dont think I've ever been so dissapointed in my life. Such a huge build up for nothing. And the Clark/Doomsday fight laster all but 10 seconds. Lois was hardley in this episode... All year I was expecting it to be great. Over and over again in my head I'd replay the Clois scenes thinking we'd get a kiss or Lois holding Clark's dieing body like in the comics. And we got the worst piece of crap I've ever seen. Is it wrong that a TV show is affecting me right now? Becuase I'm so sad I could cry, except I cant even do that because I jsut feel numb about it all right now. OH AND THEY KILLED OFF ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS AND LIED FOR YEARS ABOUT WHO HE WAS.
It was just a complete WTF episode for me. Not epic at all. I was completely expecting some EPIC BATTLE where they both nearly die and stuff and like you said, more Clois scenes and Clark almost dying in Lois' arms and crying and me crying and everyone crying but WTF. Instead we lose Jimmy, which is ridiculous. I think it finally clicked for me tonight. I totally understand why people sided with Jimmy in the whole Davis-Chloe-Jimmy love triangle.
And I wholeheartedly understand you being affected by it. Gurl when Clana ended in the horrible way it did, I was SO numb and somehow emotional too for so long. It was the biggest mindfuck ever. I haven't approached Smallville with my old enthusiasm since. I understand SO much. And I HATE that he died right after finding out Clark's secret. I thought we were going to have so much fun with that.
Ugh I could write a whole essay about this episode rn but I'm going to stop. :( Ugh SV.
