Daredevil Season 3

Anyone here watch the 3rd season of Daredevil on Netflix? If so, do they ever actually address the whole part where "Matthew Murdock" was assumed dead at the end of Defenders? Or how he can just show up at the police station without anyone going, "heeeyyy...."? Because if it's there, I seem to have missed it.
