I have an opportunity for a job interview with some sort of telecom outfit (they found my resume on one of the mass job hunt places I posted to and have sent me an email with the autosetup for an online interview). They have offices in the US from the looks of things and I can't help but think that it would be good to do the network thing and take

The contract is just a job, if they could get someone to replace you who was better suited to their needs, they'd fire your butt as soon as look at you. You apply to this other job, it sounds as though it'd make you much happier than the current one, so get applying, and when you get the job, give the old employer a fortnights notice and get everything organised and go live your life happy in the knowledge the very soon you'll have a new husband, job and home all waiting around the corner for you.
