WARNING: I may get whiny and ranty. It's getting late and I'm exhausted.

Yeah, I understand the costs that sit behind the price. I know that one of the teas we sell is picked and rolled for only two days out of the entire year, which lends to its high price.

Really, it's the "supposed benefits" bit that's killing me about that.

At the ISU job fair, it seemed like the only two professions hiring right now are sales and accounting. My advice: become a CPA.

I've heard there's good money in being a CPA, but I don't know if I can juggle numbers that well.

I totally understand where you're coming from. arashiz makes some wonderful points, but i totally understand what you mean by the "supposed benefits". Frankly, they probably get those benefits (to an extent) but it also probably comes from placebo effect. Case in point- pepermint tea wakes my ass up. *shrug*

Just curious, how much do you get paid at the tea shop (and IM me the name, I have no frakking clue which one it is.)

well, I quit, so now I don't care about all that.

It was Teavana, and I made ~8 an hour, plus selling bonuses.

I sold 5 "coupons" to a guy... simply because I talked way to fast for him to keep up...
and he was hungry.

I feel terrible for it. Because I was simply quicker then him.

Yeah: I understand how sales you have to be fucking Ruthless.

Yeah, that's simply not how I operate. I can't fuck people over, because I've been fucked over (time and time again), and I hate it.

I can not... WILL not become something that I hate. I can't be that person.
