/nod (with the exception that I liked american werewolf in paris, only because it was kinda campy) Also, I haven't seen paranormal activity, is it worth seeing? side-note, I hate this sensationalism about malevolent spirits as of late, most of them don't want to harm anyone.
Paranormal Activity is definitely worth checking out. It's not a bad movie by any means, it just moves slowly, and there's very little in the way of "payoff". That said, it's relatively creepy, and the few things that DO happen on camera are wholly "whutthefuck get out of that house".
Personally, I enjoyed Daybreakers quite a bit and I'm quite glad I went to see it before classes started up. I got exactly what I paid for, and by the end of it I was pleased at my selection. That doesn't happen often with vampire movies. I think one thing that really redeemed this film was the complete lack of sex - lets be honest romance and lust don't really have a huge part to play in the world of the undead outside of getting an easy/willing meal. I think the amount of bloodspray should be given an award (the "13 gallons" award sounds about right
( ... )
We actually cracked the "13 gallons" joke during that sequence.
I like the stagnant immortality idea. It also coincides with the natural pretension that vampires typically have. "My time is best because I come from that time, why should I have to change?"
