Ugh, it's official. 90% of parents suck. I'm sorry that they put you through all that. When it comes to some people money is the only thing that makes them happy and they feel they need to keep it all to themselves as demonstrated here. So next year is when I will be moving to Philly, probably not the end of summer/ beginning of fall. Yeah I went and told my mom that you said I might be able to live with you. She said she is much comfortable with that idea then me getting roommates, blah. So let me know if that is still an option or not because I know you guys are searching for apartments now, as demonstrated in the LJ update. If not then I'll figure something out. ^^ And no worries, I should be able to transfer to another Cracker Barrel in the Philly region so I won't have to go job hunting when I get there. Ok well I've talked enough. Lol. Oh and I'm learning how to cook! Hahaha, and not just microwave dinner. Lmao. Ok, ttyl! ^^
I have no idea, I am looking for an apartment and I have NO IDEA how many bedrooms it will have. If it has multiple bedrooms, the chance that it is close to Centre City, is slim.
I just found out that something with multiple bedrooms is out of my price range by at least $500 a month. The ones that we found with Multiple bedrooms, are all far and you would still be considered a commuter. That and I am not sure of Ken's reaction to something like that, by me it's fine, I know you are not a Dirt ball, that and I am blood related so I can kick your ass if I need to. me=> (Q-_-)=Q)X_x) <=you Also find out if you have on campus housing at all. Only because if you do have roommates and you HATE THEM, usually the campus will try and accommodate you.
Oh when I say far, I mean its the opposite side of the city. It's like 30min to an hour walk, I walk fast so it's 30 min for me. Which by me, isn't bad in a city, because there is so much to look at, but people who live in the city find is blasphemous. Also there are shuttles and cabs and car services and bikes, but you have to ride them in the street with the crazy Philly drivers(o.O) Ken has the notion of getting a bike, or walking. His "rainy day/crapola weather" plans are to use shuttles or cabs to get to where he is going. Also need to find out your total allotted budget for living expenses, how much you will use for food, utilities, and housing and if it's decent enough you may not need to get a place with roommates.
