Well, Steph's on the plane even as I write this....the kids are playing with their Yule gifties....I'm freezing my butt off (even in layers LOL) and am about to curl up on the daybed by the Bay Window in front and watch the snow fall.....seems the perfect reflective activity for today :)

Excellent point! I was referring to the one in Oregon where if there's 1/2" of snow, people are driving with chains on LOL still, looks as if both would work here! :D

LOL Yeah, when I was living (actually across the border in WA, getting ready to move) in Portland, the day I was to go put in an app for the brand new low income housing place, it snowed like 4-6 inches! The buses couldn't get around (commuter rail wasn't in yet) and most of the area was shut down, so I couldn't GET to work but managed to slog through the snow and slush to put in my app and got the apartment.

But yea, it was crazy..

I hope you're having a wonderful Yule, and I'm so glad Stephan got to be home with you for a while! You stay all snuggled up away from the snow! I have to be out in it tonight for our Christmas Cantata, but it's a small price to pay for the opportunity to sing off-key, wear a robe with big, flappy sleeves and eat cookies later!
