So I've had this cough for weeks upon weeks now....and being somewhat stupidly stubborn; didn't see a doctor until yesterday. He looked at me like I was completely nuts and said, "Erhm...HOW long have you been coughing like this?!" then stood there getting progressively more impatient as I tried to work out just exactly how long it's been LOL He ( Read more... )

LOL Yes, I am! and I admit, I was completely idiotic here...but in my defense, I was pretty focused on William getting over his cough (because I figured I was only a couple of days behind him, so if he got better, I'd get better soon enough after.....then he got better and I didn't....that was the kicker. Elen's now started coughing as well, so I've started her on mucinex :)

*slaps you on the hand for not going to the doctor sooner* Don't do that again. Now, you be a good girl and take the medicine and get some rest so you get all better, because I don't want you to be sick. And that's an order directly from ducky! If I have to come out there in person...Well, I probably couldn't do it very well because my wheelchair doesn't work so well in the snow, and I would get very cold before I even got to the end of the street, and Montana is much farther than the end of my street! So, don't make me do that! Seriously, can your Mom help with the house and kids for a few days so you can get some rest?

LOL Yes, dear :) She's been a help a bit - had them both over for a sleep-over last night, but she's heading off to Bellingham, WA later today - then probably will drive down to Lincoln City and Portland at some point (lucky wench!) to visit family. As for me, I'm having a lot of quiet movie-watching days with the kids :) Good things movies are my other addiction (aside from books LOL)
Howl's Moving Castle is on right now and both kids are quiet....I'm about to go lay back down, promise :)

Ouch! I'm SO glad you got the cough med, too! It's worth taking if it will kick this thing in the butt that you have - I am definitely taking it easy - have been trying to for a while but....it's just got worse, so I'm pretty glad there's finally a light at the end of the proverbial tunnel LOL and yes, I promise *hugs*
