Random Helping #95: CRACKCRACKCRACK
I feel like I'm about to crack real soon. A tsunami of stress is washing over me right now and my mind can't seem to relax; I've got so many things on my mind and my primary worry right now is about the community project that is due a week from now. TT^TT
♣ *siiiiiighs* I'm stressed. I want to vent it out. My head is stuffed with so many things. The one thing that's bothering me more than anything else right now is: the community project for my Study Skills subject.
We had a group meeting last Friday and after much arguments and discussions here and there, we decided to settle with Salvation Army and 2 other charity booths. One, people can donate the clothes, DVDs, accessories, anything useable that they no longer want or need. Two, a booth where people can play PS2 and we will charge according to the duration of their gameplay. The money will go to charity, of course. Three, a booth selling beverages and cupcakes. We planned to do all of this on campus grounds. We were keen on doing it too. And just when we thought the campus would approve our plans, they said that we should've notified them a week in advance.
So, yeah, since we only have very, very limited time left, we had no choice but to scrap the idea. And it was such a good idea too. Plan B was to go to YMCA in Brickfields and help out with the weekend activities they have. But even that didn't seem possible because, yes, "we have to book in advance".
We have less than a week to complete this task, make a report and slides for the presentation, and we still have not decided on a location yet. PRESSHAAAAAHHH!!! ;______;
♣ On the other hand, there's another group work that I managed to accomplish. Well, sort of. It's for Expository Writing subject and we're supposed to gather in a group of 3 and pick up a skill and make something with that skill. We decided to try our hands at making handmade greeting cards and managed to complete the project within 2 hours plus! E decided to make a birthday card, S wanted to make a wedding card, and I decided to make a Mother's Day card. Here's my result:
All that's left is to compile the pictures of the process of making it and also to complete our report. By Monday. ;_____; I'm crossing my fingers that this get done on time!
♣ Tried to replace all of my negative energy with something positive by "reliving" my childhood last night. :D Not literally speaking, of course, but by watching some of my favourite fairy tales that I used to get so excited about when I was a child. I had finished watching The Swan Princess and Cinderella last night. Next on my list is Alice in Wonderland and Anastasia. Natsukashii~
♣ Purchased 2 Aiba clearfiles and collected them from Kak Madi earlier today! I have 4 clearfiles now in total; a perfect number for the number of subjects I take each semester. :D I don't like how my notes are all jumbled up in one, fat clearfile. It makes it hard for me too look for certain notes from a certain subject. x_____x
♣ After Shukudai-kun, Utaban is going to end next???? TT_____TT I have not seen enough of Nakai vs. Ohno fights yet! I want to see more of those!
♣ My cousin’s friend informed me about SNSD’s latest single, “Run, Devil, Run”. She said the single was different than their usual bubblegum-pop music and that it has a slightly dark touch to it. It kinda reminds me of during that time when I first discovered Arashi’s “truth”. :D Anyway, curious by her statement, I went to YouTube to check it out. Apparently, there has been a debate about who is the “original owner” of the song; Ke$ha or SNSD? From one of the comments that I read, the poster said that the song was actually half-completed and that it was only a demo by Ke$ha. SM Entertainment bought the copyrights of the song and then handed it over to SNSD to sing the whole song; making them the rightful owner of the song. But of course, there were also others who were dissatisfied with such comments and defended SNSD by saying that the song is originally theirs.
Hmm. This incident reminded me of that case with DBSK’s “Mirotic” that a friend of mine told me back when Mirotic was hot on the charts.
♣ I'm really sorry for not being a faithful f-list checker. ;_____; Once my short break kick starts, I'll definitely run through the list!

I would purposely ruin my tent and ask them to help me build it if I ever see these two campers in the woods. XD Which I never will cuz I'm not much of a fan of camping. But Aiba does! ;___; :P
