people practically worship doctors these days and if you arent a doctor they have a really hard time believing you! Ive been giving my dad ways to practically cure his diabetes for 2 years now, whether it was with herbs or through some diets. Some of the easiest things to do and he hasnt done one of them. Id like to think he has faith that his own daughter knows what shes talking about but Im pretty positive that unless there is an MD or PHD next to my name he's never going to listen. Your friend has probably seen the doctor a lot and when you say something that contradicts what the doctor says she is going to have a hard time believing you even if what you say makes perfect sense and she'll probably defend what the doctors say when she argues with you. What I dont understand is why people with illnesses or people who are pregnant dont care to educate themselves about what they are going through (this isnt always the case of course) if I was pregnant I would WANT to find a way to not have an epidural because it was safer for me and my

Don't give up. I would hope since she's your friend, she would at least listen. God knows I love when you post new things about your classes and new info you find out. I'm always trying to find out new things on how to deal with the pain. Not just the contractions and birth, but the general discomferts up untill then. I personaly think I will need an epidural, but I want to at least try to make it as far as I can without one. Sean and I have been very vigualant about my breathing and massage. But I want to have all my options open :)

Hey Ana, I am glad that someone is using my references! And it gives me hope to hear that you are educating yourself about your baby :) Unfortunately though I feel terrible about venting all of that stuff about how frustrated I am because my friend miscarried yesterday.. but maybe it will give me sometime to work with her about her body and pregnancy..

I'm soo sorry to hear that.
So my baby has till thurs. to come out before they have to induce me. I'm alittle nervous, but I'm also glad to have an end in site. wish me luck :)

I'm glad that your baby is almost here! becareful with induction.. and remember that there has never been a case when the baby didn't come out!! haha
