Isolated tribe spotted in Brazil One of South America's few remaining uncontacted indigenous tribes has been spotted and photographed on the border between Brazil and Peru.
The Brazilian government says it took the images to prove the tribe exists and help protect its land.

i agree with licoricelaces, it's lame they had to see an airplane. i think from now on, they ought to be more careful, and only view tribes below from giant blimps painted to look like disembodied heads.
despite the tragedy of this discovery, i was quite pleased to have yet another reason not to believe that ridiculous 'indians didn't see columbus' theory that was expressed in "what the Bleep do we really know about anything anyway?"
