the year starts off so strong. like, yes. i am going to post on... to? lj. i can do this. and for a couple of weeks, maybe even a month you do. i do
( Read more... )
Even though I see you elsewhere, I miss you being around here. ♥
(I miss also being able to post with actual full sentences and paragraphs, I have to say.)
But I do understand why everyone's preoccupied with twitter & tumblr now. I do it, too. Though I can't leave LJ, it's my original fandom home. (Plus, here's where I continually store a million links that I don't want to lose.)
So yeah, I'm pretty much over here all by myself now. :( - Although I notice that people still get interaction here if they're one of the popular kids, but alas, I am not. Oh well.
I understand what you're saying 1 million percent! I used to post almost daily and it's great to have that to look back on. I forget things, good things!
I don't really have the excuse of other social media, because the only thing I keep up on is Instagram. :/
Right? Like, it was so easy to post daily. Sometimes thrice daily. And now? Why so hard? Why?
Every now and then I go back and fiddle with my tags, make old entries private or friends only, reading old entries is a bit crazy. Like there was so much interaction and so many inside jokes and just jovial times.
You should really join tumblr. It's so easy. And I know there's stories and such about "being too old" for it, or how it's for the kids, and yeah. There are a lot of younger people there but like. You don't need to be. It's just reblogging pictures and liking things. It's good times.
Sometimes I lurk. Sometimes I forget. But the I come back and take a boo and there's maybe like five entries that I've missed, I mean from friends... communities post more. That makes me both kind of sad and relieved. Cos, like I don't have a lot of back reading to do.

Man, I miss the old days of fandom.
PS: Awesome tag. :)

Though typing in full sentences is kind of neat, however. On the other hand. I don't know what to say.
M'sorry you feel so alone over here, I'm going to try and be over this way a bit more often. Try. Try.
"Man, I miss the old days of fandom." <---- All of this. Always.
thanks.

You're correct. LJ is home. Always will be. I'm always around, post every once in a while.
But always lurking.
Like a lurky lurker.
