at why I not voting for Obama. Why he is not, in my opinion, the lesser of any evils. Frankly if Bush had done these things that Obama has, my friends who have defended Obama would have called for Bush's head on a platter ( Read more... )

I do like her. :)

To be clear too, I really liked Obama. I really thought things would be different... but, well, power and greed. Blech!

You can dig up similar stuff on pretty much every president. I'd wager that whoever the next one is, of whatever party, is not going to be any better.

Perhaps, but Obama is not a "safer" choice just because he's a democrat or made pretty promises (none of which he followed through on).

Looking strictly at voting records where available, and despite my contempt for his ideals, at least Ron Paul is like to make due process (which our government has taken away from us in the NDAA, really, legally we no longer have any right to due process. You can be locked up and held without cause, a warrant, a lawyer or a trial now) a prioirty. Sure, a lot of federally funded programs will get cut...

This is why a lot of Republicans aren't real keen on Romney - he's more of the same. Sadly, Ron Paul is probably not electable, and the rest are trying to paint themselves in the mold of Reagan, because it sounds good.

I wonder how many other folks who voted for Obama are seriously pissed off that the whole "hope and change" thing was a big load of bullshit. I suspect you're far from alone. That's going to be the group that determines whether he gets another go at this.
