I've been working at The Company since July with the expectation that my position would end at the end of the year; hence I've been engaged in The Job Search... until last Tuesday, when I received an email from one of my supervisors indicating that I could be hired on for a more permanent position. Fortunately, the situation has simplified--the job's ending tomorrow. I'm sort of relieved--I'm giving myself the month of January to find a job and a more permanent place.
