Can this be the season be when Arthur freaking finally finds out? I really don't care how at this point, But if they choose not to, for whatever reason - please please let at least someone know! *cough* Gwen *cough*.
In my dream scenario Arthur already knows but doesn't give away that he knows. And when Merlin finally tells him, he'll be "About time

I'm so ridiculously excited! Especially after all the interviews! I know always get my hopes too high up but I'll just readjust them, I'm still terribly in love with this show.

About the magic reveal based on SDCC interviews: [..]They've shot the first part of the season supposedly and the way Colin talked in general, I'm sure there has been no reveal yet, but he thinks they're ought to have it this season. This doesn't mean anything, but he did say Arthur has a lot of "confrontations" with magic, and he also said they're exploring Merlin's magic more this year, with a "the most important scene regarding that" coming up. I'm also kind of lenient on the magic reveal now because I'm very excited for the "more ruthless" Merlin they're hinting at.

We still don't know for sure whether this is the last season, they said they had a 5 season plan, but their are talks of a sixth season or a movie trilogy as well?! it's a bit of a mess, so I do hope they wrap this season up nicely.

I find ruthless Merlin interesting :D Then I also like the dark!Merlin idea so /whistles

I really hope there's a magic reveal, because it is now getting ridiclous the amount of times Arthur have conveniently passed out when Merlin does magic.

Hold up.. movie trilogy?!? That cold be kind of full of awesome - but I wonder if I can take a 1½ hour of Merlin hiding his magic till the last movie :P I hope they keep their 5-year plan, because adding things to just fill up another season is never good :/

Yes me too! I really liked the scene where kills Agravaine and like, really embraces his badassness last season, and they brought that up a lot, Colin says it's kind of what he bases his portrayal on in season 5 sooooooo, let's hope!!

It *is* ridiculous, it's the number one thing where the show loses credibility, Arthur's character in particular. And the tension is just building and building without a resolve, that's unhealthy.

I'm kinda hoping they do the 5 season plan, which includes the reveal because how could the final plan not?! and then how awesome would it be to have movies where Merlin uses magic all along? Could make up a bit for all our sufferings.

But I definitely agree that when people drag out a series just for the sake of dragging it out, that can be smelled from miles..
