It's refreshing to hear an actor love their character so much, to be so enthusiastic about the relationships they're portraying, and to be just as disappointed not to be playing that character again as the fans. I love how he's always talking about the emotional depth rather than just the sexual attraction.

Like you, I love the fandom - there's not been too much drama, at least that I've seen. I hope we continue to love and discuss and create fanworks about this show. Season Three is only just airing in the UK and won't air elsewhere for a while, plus I personally know people are just starting the show from the beginning via Netflix and boxsets, etc, so for many of us it isn't even over canon-wise yet. And I'm not ready to let go of this show. So thanks for posting, and posting to LJ in particular, which also needs support to survive :)

Couldn't have said it better! I adore the fact that Francois is basically the captain of this ship, that he loves it just as much as we do. He really understands the fans.
And I don't want to see this LJ end anytime soon, so I think it will be quite easy to keep it going despite the show ending. Hell, there's still the campaign going on Facebook. We have to try!
