After having a wonderful weekend with my family, we came home on Sunday to find out cat, Shelley, in a bad way. She had been deteriorating slowly the past few months, and we figured that her time with us was growing short. She stopped grooming herself. She was a beautiful cat. I'm sorry for your loss--I know how hard it is to put down a loved family pet. I think the bird feeder to mark her grave is perfect.

I'm so sorry Maria, she was such a beautiful cat and it sounds like she was a truly special companion. It's so hard to lose a pet, but I'm glad she had such a long and healthy life and got to leave peacefully when she was ready.
