Remembering a friend

He went as he lived, quietly and with dignity. A soldier to the end who went with his boots on and dog-tags intact. The Mighty Quin served his life with distinction. There was never a rider he did not treat with calm acceptance. He taught lightness and balance without needing to use resistance or frustration.
