and wow, yay on the taxes. you already are coolest daughter ever. I was so relieved when we finished pops'. and I didn't even want to know why some of those receipts were cut up like that, with the itemization redacted. some things, you just don't want to know.

HE chose the wings to match his shoes. Also two matching beaded necklaces! My son, irritably: "Mother, where's my jewelry? I don't have enough jewelry!" Kid, I know the feeling. :P

My 6-year-old son just looked over my shoulder, saw the picture of Tiberius, and said, "Whoa..." in his most awed and approving voice. So clearly Tiberius's vision is working for him. And me! :D

Oooh, taxes. Wow, you sure do know how to have fun!

Yay, Ren Fair! And yay to Tiberius with wings. We used to go to the RenFair in NY State years and years ago. Is it still at Sterling Forest? Do they still have the pickleman swaggering around, "Get yer pickles!" and other assorted more imaginative sales pitches?

They do! Hypatia loves pickles, but Tiberius hates them so much that if they come on a restaurant plate, I not only have to get rid of the pickles but cut off any part of food that the pickle has touched. He has learned that the phrase for this is "HOLD THE PICKLES."
