Peppo Voicecheck.

Jan 18, 2008 12:45

For my own reference... every line Peppo speaks in the entire series! (Except that one dream sequence. Oh Albear.) Because I'm already starting to panic that I don't have the voice. MAJOR SPOILERS. NO RLY. DO NOT EVEN LOOK AT THIS POST. IGNORE. IGNOOOOOOORE.

Episode 1:

Peppo: You're alone? Tonight is the last night of the carnival, yet you're by yourself.

Albert: I wanted to be alone. Today was the worst day of my life.

[sits with] [timeskip to not-sex, and pulling a gun]

Peppo: Don't be so impatient. Let's go, shall we?

--

Epidode 2:

Peppo: Please don't, Teresa! You mustn't kill him yet! I mean.. because we won't be able to get the money... and besides. Besides, it's still too early.

Teresa: Move. [thrusts hot sword at Peppo]

Albert: If you're going to do it, do it to me! It's pathetic, arguing amongst yourselves! [to Peppo:] Thank you. Please stay back. I'll be fine.

Teresa: So you have a crush on her? How wonderful. But she's a heavy burden for you, boy. Or perhaps you want to become one of us? Let's mark you.

[as she moves to burn Albert, Peppo jumps in front of the sword and gets thrown to the side; a fight ensues] [timeskip] [Albert notices Peppo still on the ground, and runs to her]

Albert: Are you okay?

Peppo: Hey. Your name. I still haven't asked you what your name is.

Albert: I'm Albert. Albert de Morcef.

Peppo: I'm Peppo.

--

Episode 3:

Peppo: You're still naive, aren't you?

[timeskip to Albert catching her]

Albert: What's the meaning of this?

Peppo: I ended up coming here. I left the bandits, so I came to Paris looking for a job.

Albert: But how did you find this place?

Peppo: I came to look for you, Albert. Just kidding! It's a coincidence. Things just happened to play out like this.

Albert: Hey Peppo.

Peppo: You remembered my name, I see.

Albert: Are you going to stay here?

Peppo: You don't want me to?

Albert: Well, uh. How to put this...

Peppo: Don't worry. Let's just say we'll keep each other's secret.

--

Episode 4:

Peppo: Infidelity, affairs... dalliances in the dark of night... just like in the rumors, aristocrats really get things going.

Albert: Don't say such lewd things! The Count is my friend!

Peppo: What a child you are. If people could become friends by sharing bread and salt, no one would suffer.

Albert: What are you talking about?

Peppo: You will learn someday, boy.

[timeskip]

Peppo: Goodness, why are aristocrats always eating? Parties, high teas, and balls.

Maid: Well it's not like they have anything else to do.

Peppo: In other words, if you take away hunger, lust, and greed, there's nothing left.

Other Maid: That's going too far!

Maid: Wasn't the guest today refined, and rather handsome?

Other Maid: You think so? He was uncultured.

Peppo: But listen, they were having a pretty good moment under the grape trellis.

Maid: Oh really? And here I thought the Missus was faithful to the Master.

Peppo: Don't you think the ladies will fall for Count's charms at the drop of a hat?

Other Maid: Stop it already!

Peppo: Without a doubt, she had the face of a woman who has fallen in love.

Other Maid: If you don't stop, I'll tell the Missus.

Peppo: Oh, how scary.

[timeskip, Peppo coming into Albert's room]

Albert: You're still here? [Peppo knocks over a stack of books] Hey, don't touch!

Peppo: Unfortunately for you, I got on your father's good side and will be staying here for awhile.

Albert: Got on his good side?

Peppo: It means your father... is also a man. [licks lips]

Albert: Cut out the bad jokes.

Peppo: Well, your father aside. The one to worry about is your mother, isn't it?

Albert: What do you mean?

Peppo: I mean, she has been gazing thoughtfully at a young man's picture.

Albert: You saw?

Peppo: There is no doubt that the man in that picture is not the Master. [Albert looks upset] I can understand. I'm sure I would be depressed if my mama were staring at a strange man's picture.

Albert: That's enough, go away!

Peppo: As you like.

[timeskip, Albert catches Peppo in his mother's room]

Albert: That girl... Peppo, what are you doing?

Peppo: Oh, hi, Albert.

Albert: Don't 'oh hi' me! You're messing around with my mother's jewels!

Peppo: But they're so pretty!

Albert: If my father sees you, you will be punished.

Peppo: Fine, fine. I just have to return them, right? I'll return them.

[Albert stares at his mother's locked drawer]

Peppo: That drawer... it bothers you, doesn't it? It seems as though your mother's secret treasure is hidden there.

Albert: It can't be.

Peppo: Oh, no one is without secrets. Just like you and I have a secret night.

Albert: That was me being deceived by you!

Peppo: If you want to open the drawer, let me know anytime! I'm very good at picking locks.

Albert: Cut it out and do your job!

Peppo: Fine. [smirks and leaves]

[timeskip, Albert is getting ready to go visit the Count, tugging on his clothes]

Albert: Does it look strange?

Maid: It becomes you quite well.

Peppo: [snerk]

Albert: What?

Peppo: I'm glad that you seem to be doing unexpectedly well.

Albert: Thanks.

Peppo: If you're going to visit the Count, isn't your appearance a little too plain?

Albert: Too... plain?

Peppo: [smiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirk] [gets him to dress like a pirate~]

--

Episode 8:

[Albert is in the shower, thinking about stuff re: the Count]

Albert: This isn't good.

Peppo: [STICKS HER HEAD IN] Albert!

Albert: AAAHHHH. W-what's with the sudden intrusion?

Peppo: Oh, sorry. But you wouldn't answer no matter how many times I called. You have a visitor.

--

Episode 10:

Peppo: You're late. Where have you been?

Albert: None of your business.

Peppo: Oh? What a foul mood you're in. I was going to tell you something good, too.

Albert: What is it?

Peppo: Maximilien finally went ahead with his plan. Location: the Villeforts'. Accomplices: two, Franz and Renaud. They came to get you, but you weren't here, so...

--

Episode 12:

Albert: I wonder what her thoughts are... regarding the cancelled engagement.

Peppo: Why don't you ask her directly?

Albert: No. The problem may not just be about the two of us.

Peppo: ...Albert. You're serious about her, aren't you? ... There are times when... you only realize the importance of something after it's lost, right?

--

Episode 16:

Albert: At this rate there's no way I'd get in through either the main or back gate.

Peppo: This way, this way! [leads him around the house] Here it is. The only door in the house that doesn't have security.

Albert: How do you know about something like this? Peppo?

Peppo: ...hurry up. Or the papparazzi will come.

Albert: ... I'm indebted to you. [goes]

Peppo: ... ... goodbye, Albert.

[timeskip, Albert is confronted by the bandits]

Albert: What are you doing in the Count's house?

Teresa: ...you're still pretty slow. Now, why don't you explain it to him?

[Peppo walks forward, looking miserable]

Albert: You. You said you'd left the bandit ring. Peppo!

Peppo: I was watching you the entire time, Albert, at the Count's orders. So basically, I was reporting your every move to the Count.

Albert: Why would the Count order something like that?

Peppo: You're starting to get an inkling of it, aren't you? Why the Count approached you in Luna and came to Paris.

[Albert throws a fit]

--

Episode 20:

[Albert is walking down the street~]

Peppo: ALBERT! I'm sorry. I. I couldn't disobey the chief. He raised me like a daughter. I won't ask you to forgive me. But at least let me help you somehow!

Albert: Stop it. I don't want to be jerked around anymore!

Peppo: Just as you'd like to save the one you love, I want to help the one I love.

[timeskip]

[Eugenie is distinctly not signing her marriage license; she spills ink on it]

Peppo: Marie Antoinette, wife of Louis XVI, who reigned in medieval times, supposedly spilled ink on the document while signing her wedding contract, as if to foreshadow the unhappy fate that later overcame them. On account of this stain, please reconsider.

Danglars: Who are you? Who sent you?

Peppo: It doesn't matter who sent me, I can't approve of this wedding.

Danglars: Don't give me that shit, you little--

[meanwhile Albert is stealing Eugenie] [timeskip]

Peppo: ...bye bye.
